Ragged Wood

2024; Junior year. "Ragged Wood" is a miniature collection created for Winter 2024 inspired by the rough beauty of coastal nature, specifically in the Pacific Northwest’s bay area. Ragged Wood is about the beauty of the distressed, the worn-in, the experienced. The cool mist of the Pacific ocean filters through the strong trunks of redwood and eucalyptus trees, and the cloudy but bright skies wrap a blanket around the gentle, serene atmosphere. Occassionally, the clouds part and a small ray of sunshine casts a light on the enchanting vision of the natural forests which stretch on for miles.
